Netflix

Hey, All. This was buried in a different thread so we thought we'd create a new one to help folks find the information they need.

Netflix has recently changed their app and added some security for certain devices (i.e. rooted devices or those with custom versions of Android -- ours definitely falls into the latter category). Unfortunately, we have no control over these third party apps and Netflix has made a conscious decision to not support certain devices.

But... you can still install an older version of Netflix and it'll work just fine with our hardware. We put a few out on our website. Use version 3.16 for 1001 models (JK1001, FJ1001) and use 4.16 for the JK2001. http://insanejeepaudio.com/APK/

The first time you enter it, it'll ask for email and then password and depending on your Insane Audio head unit it may be a little tricky because the keyboard covers up the dialog. You have to type blind, but you can tap on the upper right Back button to get out of the keyboard and check your work. Then you can go back to the text boxes and make corrections if necessary.

As always, streaming video is great for passengers or while parked. If you're driving, keep your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road!
