Problem with IARBOOST

Post by reaganeden » Sat Apr 23, 2016 6:52 am

I ordered one from 4 wheel parts and picked it up, but after installing it had no power, yes CANBUS is plugged in.

The problem is the new connector is smaller than the old connector.

If you center it in the CANBUS, no power.

If it's pushed all the way left, there is power, but the unit has power all the time, even with key off. Also steering wheel controls don't work this way.

If it's pushed all the way right, there is no power.

Hey, Reaganeden. If your old CANBUS module doesn't fit perfectly into your IARBOOST then that means you are on one of our Gen1 CANBUS modules. Hit up our guys at support@insanejeepaudio.com if you haven't already and they'll work with you to upgrade your CANBUS.

Cheers,
