Google Maps Volume

Post by WranglerManglerSS » Thu Feb 01, 2018 2:19 pm

Using Google Maps on an Android phone you can select to hear only the traffic alerts, turn by turn directions or mute and hear nothing but your music. Is this possible on the JK2001 Google Maps version?

Yes, these same audio options are available using Google Maps for navigation on the JK2001. Google Maps is certainly an option for navigation on our units, but don't forget Insane NavEngine comes pre-installed and offers turn-by-turn navigation as well as all kinds of other cool features like full 3D topography, trail maps, and road maps for the entire US and Canada, plus you get individual volume controls for voice guidance, alerts, and tones. You can also adjust the relative difference between the GPS sound and the rest of your audio in the main settings menu, under Navigation settings.
