Re: Remote USB Jack?

If you remove the UConnect module while installing the JK2001 radio as the directions suggest, you will unplug the console USB cable that ends in the center console storage. If you get a USB to USB converter you can plug the factory cable into one of the USB ports on the back of the radio. The conv...

Re: JK2001 questions

Hey, CHP. To answer your questions -- Our line outs work great. In fact, we have a separate sub out and a separate sub volume control that works with InsaneEQ. :) As far as other forums go, unfortunately we don't participate in any of them. Most people think sites like Wrangler Forum or Jeep forum a...

Re: JK2001 questions

I read the different wrangler forums to gage peoples issues and have some questions of my own on the JK2001. 1) There was a complaint about a buzz coming through the sound system when the volume is above zero. Is this common; was it resolved? On users with an OEM Alpine premium sound system, our en...

Yep -- just put a paperclip or ballpoint pen in the tiny little hole on the upper right. Hold it down and she'll reset!

Re: Reset Button On A TJ1002?

It's on the upper right, above the tune knob. Just hold it down with a ballpoint pen or paperclip. Re: Insane EQ

Sorry for the late reply -- things are crazy at the shop! :)

Please give us a little more details on your setup. OEM speakers? OEM upgraded system (i.e. Alpine or Infinity)? Aftermarket amps/speakers? Have you installed any EQ or sound processing apps in addition to InsaneEQ?

Re: JK2001 v1.5 is available now!

Sorry, folks. We don't publish a detailed change log. Besides being quite technical, we also need to protect some of our R&D and intellectual capitol. We will provide release notes with every software release that highlights key features. In the future, we'll try to be as verbose as possible in thos...

Re: Apple Carplay

Insane Audio’s products do not run Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. They are much, much better! Unlike CarPlay that allows you to only run a small subset of apps that are CarPlay approved from your phone through a physical cable, Insane Audio’s JK2001 runs its own apps. Think about it this way. You ha...

Re: Tapping into reverse

Please note that if you are installing one of our newer products (JK2001, TJ1002, FJ1002 or DD2001) that we no longer recommend this. Our new RockCam circuit is designed to power both a front and rear camera. For rear camera applications, it will power your camera when you are in reverse OR when the...
